Samsara is hiring an Accountant II for a remote role open to candidates residing in Mexico. The position supports the accounting organization of a public technology company whose Connected Operations Cloud helps physical-operation industries use IoT data to improve safety, efficiency and sustainability. The accountant works with highly visible accounting areas and is supported by an Accounting Manager while partnering with teams such as procure-to-pay, treasury, payroll, sales compensation, order-to-cash and supply chain. The official vacancy describes month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, ownership of assigned accounts and process improvement. Depending on assignment, the accounts may include inventory, deferred commissions, marketable securities and investments, bank-account arrangements, payables or receivables. The role combines operational accounting discipline with the ability to work through complex areas efficiently, communicate clearly and consider how AI can improve day-to-day work. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes.
• Knowledge of accruals and account reconciliation.
• Month-end and year-end close experience.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• English proficiency.
• Ability to work remotely while residing in Mexico.
• CPA or interest in obtaining an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong organization, critical thinking and attention to detail.
