Job description
JumpCloud is hiring a Data Analyst - India for a full-time remote role. The position sits within Engineering - Data Analytics and supports the Business Finance organization through reporting, analytics, self-service data products, AI-assisted workflows, forecasting support, and executive-level decision making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects involving data visualization, data analysis, AI automation, and data curation with the Business Finance team.
- Own assigned analytics initiatives from scoping through execution and final outcomes.
- Gather business requirements and deliver actionable recommendations for executive-level decision making.
- Develop and use AI-assisted tools and automated workflows to accelerate data exploration and ad-hoc reporting.
- Improve forecasting precision and reduce recurring manual analysis through reusable analytical assets.
- Mentor peer analysts and support technical and professional growth across the analytics organization.
- Promote analytics best practices and data-governance principles.
- Support project management, strategic decision making, and long-term planning.
- Track emerging AI, ML, and analytics technologies and apply relevant practices to business needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering a scalable AI or analytics solution that influenced a business decision, improved a process, or enabled stakeholder self-service.
- Intermediate SQL and relational-database skills; Snowflake is preferred.
- Strong Python proficiency.
- Proficiency with BI and visualization tools; Tableau is highly preferred.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and tools such as Salesforce and Excel.
- Exposure to AI-assisted analytical tools and automated analytics workflows.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and data-storytelling skills, including presenting insights at executive level.
- Intermediate analytical and quantitative-analysis skills.
- Experience with data-governance best practices.
- Effective project-management and organizational skills; Agile experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work through ambiguity.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Nice to Have
- SaaS industry experience.
- Business Finance or FP&A experience.
- Knowledge of finance metrics such as forecasting, GRR, NRR, expansion, and commissions.
- Startup experience.
- Exposure to fintech, consumer technology, or digital-product environments.
- Experience working directly with finance managers, business leaders, or operations teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Finance, or another quantitative field.
