US Mobile is hiring a Data Analyst with Sage experience for a full-time on-site role in Karachi, Pakistan. The role focuses on turning complex business data into actionable insights through SQL, Python, Sage, Amazon Athena and Looker. The analyst will work with US-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams across product, marketing, customer service and finance to support reporting, analytics, KPI tracking and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns and actionable business insights.
- Work directly with US-based stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver timely analytical solutions.
- Write complex SQL queries using Amazon Athena and other cloud-based solutions to extract, transform and analyze data.
- Use Sage in data-analysis workflows as required by the role.
- Build data pipelines and perform advanced analytics using Python.
- Automate data-preparation tasks and create reusable scripts for reporting workflows.
- Design and maintain Looker dashboards for real-time KPI tracking and performance monitoring.
- Partner with product, marketing, customer service and finance teams to support their data needs.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Help ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong SQL proficiency; Amazon Athena experience is preferred.
- Python proficiency is mandatory.
- Experience with Sage.
- Experience with Looker is required; the official posting specifically states Power BI is not applicable for this role.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in the EST time zone and collaborate effectively with US-based teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
