Job description
e.construct is hiring an Industrial Engineer – Process Automation & Optimization for its UAE-based production operations in Dubai. The role focuses on improving, modernizing and automating UHPC and precast production processes across project-driven manufacturing facilities. It is a hands-on, site-based position requiring regular presence on the factory floor and close collaboration with production, quality and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization and modernization of UHPC and precast production processes.
- Develop and implement automation, standardization and efficiency initiatives.
- Analyze production data to improve throughput, quality and resource utilization.
- Identify bottlenecks, waste and process inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to align manufacturing processes with project requirements.
- Support the development of scalable systems and workflows to meet growing project demands.
- Drive continuous-improvement initiatives using data, process analysis and manufacturing best practices.
- Work on-site across UAE production facilities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, process-driven manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in process simulation and optimization.
- Experience with automation and digitization of manufacturing systems.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data-driven performance analysis and workflow optimization.
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions.
- Manufacturing optimization experience is required; prior precast or construction-sector experience is not mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site across production facilities in the United Arab Emirates.
