Medical Content Specialist (Contract)
Everlywell | Remote, US | remote
Source-backed remote Medical Content Specialist contract role at Everlywell in the United States.
Job description
Everlywell is seeking a Medical Content Specialist on an independent-contract basis to support digital-health programs and patient-facing communications. The role combines clinical content development, medical accuracy review, health-literacy editing and workflow support. It sits within a healthcare environment that uses diagnostics, virtual care, biomarker information and patient engagement to deliver understandable health insights. The contractor may work on clinical content, patient-facing scripts, care-plan language, program summaries and related digital material. The work requires careful interpretation of medical information, attention to current guidance and the ability to turn complex clinical requirements into clear communication for patients, providers and general consumers. The engagement is flexible and project-based, typically five to twenty hours per month, so the specialist must work independently, orient quickly to active programs and deliver polished outputs with limited ramp-up. The source also describes literature reviews, telehealth-industry research, documentation-gap analysis and support for training or reference materials. This makes the position relevant to someone who can combine clinical judgment with writing, editing, research and practical workflow thinking while maintaining accuracy across changing program needs. Accuracy, audience awareness and dependable delivery are essential throughout the engagement.
