Job description
Quorum is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer for a full-time CLT position in Brazil. The company operates a remote-first model, allowing employees to work remotely or optionally use its Belo Horizonte office. The engineer will join Quorum's Engineering Team and build AI-enabled workflow software and information services used by government-affairs professionals worldwide. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end lifecycle of product features used by thousands of customers. Work across the stack, from infrastructure and APIs through user-facing interfaces. Design and implement systems that connect complex datasets with intuitive product experiences. Build AI-enabled solutions that automate administrative work for government-affairs professionals. Take ownership of feature sets and make technical decisions that affect Quorum's global customer base. Design complex technical systems and write clear technical-design documentation. Contribute to Quorum's unified codebase and centralized systems that serve multiple products and features. Write well-tested, scalable, maintainable, and secure production software. Mentor teammates through thoughtful code reviews and technical guidance. Help guide broader engineering decisions that shape Quorum's technology stack and platform growth.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building software for end users.
- Deep experience with backend application development; Quorum primarily uses Python and Django.
- Strong professional experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Ability to design complex systems, document technical designs, and implement those designs.
- Strong ownership of code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Commitment to mentoring teammates and improving engineering practices through code review.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and building AI-enabled systems that solve real-world problems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to contribute beyond pure coding when needed, including cross-functional collaboration and customer-focused
