Senior Software Engineer, Backend — Seoul Studios (Tinder Seoul)

Job description

Match Group is hiring a hybrid Senior Backend Engineer for Tinder’s Seoul Studios. The role designs and builds scalable, low-latency backend systems for interactive dating experiences, owning architecture and technical trade-offs across performance, reliability and scale. It works with a cross-functional Seoul pod and global partners to move experiments from early product development to production.

Requirements

• Senior backend engineering experience.
• Experience with scalable, low-latency services.
• Ability to work across APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong collaboration across functions and time zones.
• Experience with real-time systems or streaming is useful where applicable.
• Professional English for a global Seoul-based role.
