Job description

Perforce is hiring a hybrid Senior Software Engineer in Bracknell for its IP Lifecycle Management suite. The role owns end-to-end features across the Python command-line client and PiCache, working with server, database, solutions and support teams. The posting describes product feature development, systems engineering, testing, customer-error diagnosis and productionization of AI-assisted development workflows.

Requirements

• Five or more years of professional software-engineering experience.
• Strong Python, Golang and systems-programming experience.
• Command-line tooling and structured JSON output experience.
• Experience with Perforce and Git or comparable version-control systems.
• Unit and integration test framework experience.
• Comfort working with Linux and shell scripting.
