# Software Engineer (Entry-level) Educative Inc is hiring an Entry-level Software Engineer to join its product engineering team in Lahore, Pakistan. The position involves contributing to Educative's interactive learning platform and working with engineering and cross-functional teams throughout the software development process. Engineers in this role will help design, implement, test and improve product features while writing maintainable and reusable software. The position also involves understanding technical requirements, estimating engineering work, reviewing code and contributing to improvements in software quality and the overall customer experience. Educative is looking for candidates with strong computer science fundamentals, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, familiarity with multithreading and proficiency in at least one modern programming language. The company's technology environment includes Python, Node.js, React, Redux, React Native, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud and AWS. Experience with all of these technologies is not required for applicants. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Lahore. Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Good understanding of multithreading concepts
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of Git
  • Ability to work independently
