Job description

JumpCloud is hiring a full-time remote Staff Data Scientist in India. The role leads applied machine-learning work across product analytics and business decision support, from opportunity sizing and prototyping through deployment and impact measurement. The official vacancy covers anomaly detection, large-scale processing, predictive and prescriptive modelling, LLMs, AI agents, MLOps, monitoring, governance, and cross-functional communication. The role is explicitly remote within India and requires authorization to work there.

Requirements

• Eight or more years across analytics, LLMs, data science, or applied machine learning.
• Experience with real-time anomaly detection and large-scale data processing.
• Ability to solve business problems with predictive and prescriptive models.
• Strong Python, SQL, statistics, and machine-learning framework skills.
• Experience with MLOps, deployment, inference, monitoring, LLM APIs, and RAG.
• Must be located and authorized to work in India.
