Technical Content Engineer

Job description

Educative is hiring a Technical Content Engineer for its Content team in Lahore. The role combines hands-on software engineering with technical education and content development. The successful candidate will research, plan, create and review interactive text-based technical courses with programming assignments and projects for engineering audiences, while also using Generative AI tools to improve research, content creation, code generation and quality assurance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan and create interactive text-based technical courses with hands-on programming assignments and projects for engineering audiences.
• Review courses created by others for editorial quality, technical accuracy and effective use of Educative platform features.
• Monitor technical developments and contribute to course strategy based on learner needs.
• Use Generative AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate course research, content development, code generation and quality assurance.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve content accuracy, pedagogical effectiveness and learner engagement.
• Develop deep expertise in Educative platform capabilities and guide internal and external authors in using platform features effectively.
• Recommend product features and enhancements and support them through prioritization, design and implementation.
• Contribute to team development activities including recruiting, mentoring and training sessions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on engineering background and passion for learning new programming languages and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar tools in a professional or technical context.
• Ability to explain technically complex topics clearly and simply.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Self-directed, goal-oriented and disciplined working style.
• Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
• Confidence presenting to both large and small audiences.
• Hands-on programming experience with languages and technologies such as C++, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Python.
