Human Rights Scholarship 2027
The University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship supports domestic and international students undertaking graduate research in the field of human rights. The scholarship provides a full tuition fee offset together with a living allowance for eligible research students. For 2026, the living allowance is AUD 44,500 per year on a full-time basis. Support may be provided for up to two years for a Master by Research degree or up to three and a half years for a doctoral degree. International recipients who require an Australian student visa may also receive Overseas Student Health Cover, and relocation support may be available. Applicants must have an offer for an eligible University of Melbourne graduate research degree and intend to undertake research in the field of human rights.
