Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships Scheme 2027
The Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships Scheme (VCIS) is offered by the University of Sydney to high-achieving international students commencing eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework study. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit assessed through the applicant's University of Sydney admission application. Available scholarship values currently range from AUD 5,000 to AUD 60,000. The exact award depends on the applicant's ranking against the University's selection criteria and the availability of scholarship funds. A separate scholarship application is not required. Eligible international students who apply for an eligible CRICOS-registered coursework degree and receive an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant scholarship round deadline are automatically considered.
